Here are a few of the adventures in travel at the We Go High Project. One is still to come so do say hi if you will be at the AEE Conference in Montreal.
Closing Plenary for the 45th Annual International Conference for the Association of Experiential Education (AEE)
I am very honored to be doing the closing plenary for the 45th Annual International Conference for the Association of Experiential Education in Montreal, Canada on November 11, 2017. The closing will be a powerful combination of stories and activities aimed at capturing and directing the momentum of this amazing international community towards a more caring and compassionate world. We will demonstrate that there are ever expanding groups of people who are cracking the code on making a real difference in spite of current challenges like information overload, overwhelm and crises fatigue. Creative people everywhere are finding ways through the chaos and hopelessness to create impact using kindness, courage, humor and joy,
It was a real pleasure to present at the 17th Annual International Conference for the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Oakland, CA on July 21, 2017. The focus of the event was the science of connection and it was filled with brilliant analysis, inspirational stories from all over the world and practical hands-on tools and techniques for making a difference. The We Go High Project booth was very well attended, connecting us to new friends and partners. We also enrolled several key leaders into our We Go High Project Innovation Network at this event. It was a huge success! Our Method of “Collaborative Innovation” draws from a range of disciplines, methodologies, and advanced group facilitation approaches to help the leaders in our Innovation Networks design meaningful breakthroughs.
April 21-22, 2017 The We Go High Project was invited to attend and speak at the Green Festival, America’s largest and longest-running Sustainability and Green Living event. The We Go High Project booth was a hit with all ages. We distributed our guide to going high when others go low and other materials to empower and support people in making a real difference. Our presentation, which was focused on tools, tips and resources for taking the high road to a better world was very well received. Participants were particularly inspired by our explanation of how to deal effectively with some of the factors contributing to the chaos, divisiveness and gridlock we are experiencing like (historical and present day trauma and inequality, ineffective coping strategies, environmental toxicities and materialistic value systems).
